Membrane remains suspended above well bottom, allowing co-culture: grow one cell line inside insert, and another below in the well. Ideal for drug transfer assays, transport studies, migration assays, and cell-cell interaction studies. Inserts center in wells, preventing membrane from touch-ing sides and wicking between insert and side wall. 0.4um pore size is ideal for co-culture and drug transport studies. 3.0 and 8.0um pore size is ideal for angiogenesis and chemotaxis experiments. Non -Treated Plates sold separately; carrier plate is Tissue Culture Treated. Plate manufactured from high clarity virgin polysytrene with polyethylene membrane insert. RNase/DNase free and non-pyrogenic. Every case is printed with the lot number for quality traceability. Packaged sterile with 12 Inserts/plate, 2 Plates/case, 24 Inserts/case.
